Young Authors’ Camp
In 2009, the High Plains Writing Project held a Young Authors’ Camp with students from Sidney Gutierrez Middle School in Roswell. Leaders Leslie Lawner and Cynthia Gustamantes worked with students to help them develop their own voices as writers. The Camp was conducted at the Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge.
